Karaoke Tuner – Autotune Box

Autotune is a software used by all major artists (yes, even Michael Jackson used it…). So, when we were offered the chance to work on a project related to sound, our very first idea was to recreate this famous tool!

Using a Teensy microcontroller, powerful enough to process audio in real time, we successfully built our own autotune device, which we named “Karaoke Tuner.”

You simply plug a headset into the Karaoke Tuner’s jack, select the music you want to play, and hear your voice adjusted to the right notes, perfectly in sync with the chosen track, ready for a one-of-a-kind karaoke session!

The device processes the voice in real time to match the scale of the song, and the front panel includes two potentiometers allowing independent control of the music and voice volumes.
